1 Mans Vest: 2 Fab Looks!

Hi Fab Friends!

Menswear is so intriguing to me. I just love beautifully tailored clothes and gorgeous lines! Women dressing in menswear has been a top trend for some time-with no sign of vanishing: especially with the revival of the pantsuit for Fall 11! Think 1970s Bianca Jagger. Tres Chic. There is nothing sexier than a women wearing a suit!

This past week I did a summer version of menswear with one of my fav pieces: a vintage mens vest!  Here’s two fab ways : )

At ESSENCE!

H&M hat, Henri Bendel scarf (as pocket square), Zara skirt, Topshop sandals, Urban Outfitters messenger bag

At Lira concert, SOBs NYC

Rachel Roy pants! (I LOVE how these fit : ): )

flirting with the camera!

South African multi-platinum artist Lira!

I really enjoyed her show and our VIP table : )

Kandee Shoes puts a smile on my face : )

Hi Fab Friends!

I just love a fun shoe, as you all know! Add in a candy theme and I am completely hooked for life. Enter Kandee shoes; high heeled confections with irresistible allure (and zero calories : ). This was my third event of the evening and I knew I had alot to look forward to. When Sureme and I arrived at the London Candy Company for the stateside launch of Kandee shoes, I recieved a warm welcome from Azeeza Dasai, Zeenat Desai (two of the most fashionable sisters I have ever met!), and Karla Pope of AZK Group-the marketing company that represent Kandee.  They introduced me to the brilliant young English designer, 21 year old Josh Wayman! Josh was an absolute doll : ) As he and I spoke about his inspiration and journey, I could not help feeling as if I were in some kind of “magical candy-stilleto wonderland”. It was amazing.  All around I saw candy of all types and on the counter lay these beauties, my new best friends/lovers:

This is more than a shoe, its art : )

Thinking of cotton candy

My oh my, that’s what I call a platform : )

The tassels on the back of this bootie is giving me EVERYTHING. genius.

YAY!

yes, yes, yes

Sick : )

Fabulous! Bravo Josh : )

Josh and I!

Special thanks to Karla, Azeeza and Zeenat of AZK Group, designer Josh Wayman and Genna of The London Candy Company! I had a blast!!
