I’ve been up for the past two hours watching old YouTube videos of Grace Jones’ interviews from the ’80s. Such a remarkable woman! I have always expressed myself creatively with no apology, so I can say that I feel quite connected to Grace in that way. Perhaps we shall meet? : )
Well, there, it’s now in the universe! Looking forward to it.

It’s the start of another week, which means it’s time for a brand spankin’ new Insta-Recap! This past week I posted some fun outfit posts in celebration of Throwback Thursday, received a chic gift from mega-brand Bebe, and was absolutely captivated by a photo of Naomi Campbell from the 90s. In between it all, I attended a birthday party for my BFF Sureme on 12-12-12 and checked out the xmas decorations at Essence. These ‘grams and more when you read on!

This is my idea of a fun casual look. I’ve had this vintage jumpsuit since high school and it’s from my mom! But, of course : ) I got this army jacket from the Hells Kitchen Flea Market two years ago. When I bought the jacket, I was told that it was from the Vietnam War. Pretty awesome. One day I was out wearing it and was stopped by an army vet. He asked if I knew anyone who served. I didn’t. He said he asked because he recognized my jacket. Amazing! These sunglasses are from a vintage warehouse in NJ that I went to with my friend Shaun Willis Bentley last year.
I had a wonderful Fall afternoon in BK! So far, it’s been my fav place to shoot with Phillis.
