It’s only Wednesday but already so much has happened, so I decided to do a mid-week Insta-Recap! From birthday parties to Oscar’s best dressed, the fun hasn’t let up! Thank God! Let’s get started.
Yesterday, I attended my friend and Olympic Gold medalist, Sanya Richards-Ross‘ birthday and anniversary party (She’s married to football star Aaron Ross) at the newly vamped up 40/40 club here in NYC. She’s also working on a reality show, so the cameras were on hand to film. Sanya rocked a sick Herve Leger bodysuit, flawless!
I started a fashion writing course at Media Bistro’s headquarters downtown. Yesterday was the first day and I am loving it! Here I am in the bathroom snapping a pic before meeting my bf for Sanya’s party!

The day before, I attended NV Magazine’s event celebrating the Movers & Shakers in their respective specialites. My friend, Ty Hunter was honored and I came to show my support! He is such an inspiration. So hardworking, humble, and positive. Love him!

I don’t usually watch the Oscars but with the young Quvenzhané Wallis in the running for Best Actress, I felt compelled to. She is the youngest person to be nominated in that category. History in the making! And the dresses. How could I forget? So lovely, so gorg. Here are some that made my list!

My brother John (Instagram: @donlzz) posted this throwback pic of our mom and older brother from 1981! I’ve always loved this pic. My mom is the most gorgeous woman in the world! I am so happy that she saved so much of her clothes and accessories from this time! I have the dress she’s wearing and also the sick gold chain my brother is holding! Thanks mom : ).
