What tops sitting front row and getting the first glimpse at a brand new collection? Seeing it up close and personal at a showroom. There’s nothing like the feel of fabric and intricate detailing that you may have missed during the show. Last night, I attended Paul Wilmot Communication’s Fall 2013 Preview for Huffington Post and HelloBeautiful. It was a hit! The sprawling multi-floor showroom was filled to the brim with glamorous gowns from red carpet wonder, Rafael Cennamo; a plethora of prints by Timo Weiland, Mathieu Mirano’s architectural genius, and more. Can’t wait till Fall? African designer, Duro Olowu’s JCPenny collection is in stores right now! Lets get up close and personal.

A gifting breakfast at SuperTrash boutique, brunch with my blogger boo, snackin’ on rose macarons…These were some of my Instagram adventures last week. Let’s get into all the fun!

Last week, I was invited to the Spring 2013 preview for SuperTrash clothing brand. It was a gifting suite where we got to pick an outfit for Spring. I tried on this sexy n’ casual mesh bodycon dress which would be fab for Miami Beach! I ended up going with a buttery soft cobalt blue leather skirt and floral jacket (more on these shortly). Special thanks to the designer: the gorgeous Olcay Gulson, La Force & Stevens and Ernest Bannister. I had a wonderful time!

My friend, blogger Monroe Steele of FashionSteelNYC, invited me to her gorg apartment for brunch. We had spinach quiche and sauteed shrimp, while watching Sex and the City and chattin’! Glorious Sunday afternoon : )

A recent outfit post! It’s definitely one of my fav outfits this Winter. Sleek and simple, you can never go wrong! The touch of berry mixed with animal print is a win-win.

Monroe lent me this awesome un-authorized (very juicy) biography of Anna Wintour. It’s quite in depth and a great read.

I love sneaking off to The Macaron Cafe for my favorite flavor: Rose Lychee. They’re so delish and unbelievably cute. Perfect shade of pink!

While returning samples at Kara Ross, I was dumb struck by their beautiful foyer. In love! I’ve got the perfect inspiration for my bedroom decor.

This is how I like to rock denim-on-denim. A touch of citrus, please!

I did a fun post on HelloBeautiful on how to get Ciara’s all black Givenchy look that she recently wore to Paris Fashion Week. Then I realized I’d worn a very similar look last NYFW! Which brings us to…who wore it best?!

My friends, Doug, Wayman and I attended the Relapse Magazine party in celebration of their latest Art issue. Our other friends Micah and Molly joined us soon afterwards. An epic moment on the dance floor ensued! I looooove to dance : )
