Another week, another fun Insta-Recap! Thank God for Instagram…where else would I put my mini fashion adventures? Last week was jam packed! Between my writing deadlines, I attended showroom events, had great business meetings, checked out Betsey Johnson as she designed her Macy’s window, and more! Let’s get into IT!

Spring is just around the corner! In honor of the festive season, I rounded up 10 vibrant hued totes and satchels what are oh-so-work friendly. Take your pick!

Sweet gifts from one of my new fav brands, European label and recent US import: SuperTrash! Their boutique is located in Soho and it’s gorgeous. I love all my new SuperTrash swag, especially the blue leather pencil skirt, which has been quickly making it’s rounds in my wardrobe! Thank you!

I attended Paul Wilmot Communications’s Fall 2013 preview and was completely and utterly taken aback by Rafael Cennamo’s golden creations! Yes yes yes!

Khirma Eliazov is my all time favorite handbag designer. And she’s the sweetest! While on a private visit to view her new Fall 2013 collection, Khirma gifted me with this beauty made of exotic animal skin. So lovely! Thanks again xoxo!

After a business meeting last week, I stopped by for this tasty slice! It was amazing : ) I have to get the name and address for you guys, will def be going back. It’s downtown on 7th between 16th and 17th if I can recall!). My mouth is watering as I type!

My sparkly green mani kept me smiling all week! Lol this was unintentionally green, didn’t realize St. Patty’s was on the way! Perfect timing.

Ah, yes, my boo Betsey Johnson! She tweeted that she was styling her Macy’s window at Herald Square and I made a beeline to see her! Love me some Bets! There was a crowd surrounding her when I got there. I yelled out “Hey, Betsey” and waved. She gave me the biggest smile! Yay! And how much are you loving her yellow trainers? They’re from her line and you can get them here. : )

I love wearing one vibrant hue and keeping all the other shades neutral. This allows the saturated color to shine through and it creates such a strong statement. My accent color for the day was this electric blue SuperTrash leather skirt. Loved the standout color. Skirts have become my favorite medium for wearing leather. They’re so chic and the perfect mix of edge and sleek. (That rhymes lol.) I own about 8 now: ranging from blackest-black to blushed-up baby pink. I think I’ll wear them forever.

Great news! The fab European brand and recent US import, SuperTrash, asked me to be in the Spring 2014 issue of their magazine. I’m thrilled! I am a huge fan of the brand and their magazine is one of my fav. This is no run of the mill clothing catalog, but a true-blue fashion magazine with the sickest articles I’ve read of late. In the recent Spring 2013, one of my fav bloggers Pelayo of KateLovesMe, had an awesome article about his experience sitting next to Anna dello Russo. It was a great read. My SuperTrash shoot is this Wednesday and I can’t wait! Be sure to check out my behind the scene Instagrams!
