I had just finished today’s post for my latest venture- natural hair/personal style media site, CurlSistas.com, when I got wind of Bey + Jay’s On The Run tour this Summer and I just had to post. How epic! The tour kicks off June 25th in Miami and has 16 stops. Every $1 from each ticket sold will go to support students through the Shaun Carter Foundation. Awesome! For full dates go here.

You may remember when I was invited to speak on the panel for the Black Dress exhibit at Pratt featuring the amazing work of 10 hand picked black designers: Jeffrey Banks, Samantha Black, Stephen Burrows, Donna Dove, Epperson, Michael Jerome Francois, Byron Lars,Tracy Reese, Omar Salam, and LaQuan Smith.
I visited the exhibit before speaking at the panel and it is extraordinary! Tomorrow’s the last day so you should definitely check it out! Special thanks to Walter Greene and Adrienne Jones of Black Dress.
