Ahhh, it’s going to be an awesome 70 degrees this Sunday in NYC and I couldn’t be more excited. Time to really break out my sexy crop tops! This pic above is from 2 years ago from my Afripop mag 5 day feature and just goes to show you the crop top is here to stay, baby! Such a fun look. How’s that for a Throwback Thursday?!
So, to get my body in tip-top crop top shape I am focused on getting lean and mean with clean eating and exercise. I’m the type of gal that likes to have fun working out and my fave things to do are dancing, Pilates and sports (it’s been a while). What are your fave workouts? Would love to hear! The days quickly turn to weeks that turn to months. Sometimes we get caught up and don’t take time to appreciate all the amazing things we have to be grateful for. I have a lot to be grateful for now more than ever: getting engaged (!), my fiancé/business partner starting our new venture, CurlSistas.com, my health, wonderful friends and a great family. A cute apt in NYC, my bright and happy smile, my constantly-going creative mind that has brought me so many opportunities in the fashion, and now beauty industry. In the last couple months, I’ve started the day thanking God for all that I have. It’s a beautiful thing to have gratitude.
Today’s look was a fun one where I once again went to what always looks great on my tall (5’9) and curvy frame- sweatshirts and pencil skirts! My fave combo in the world I’m sure. If this outfit looks a lil familiar, it’s because right after I shot this with my photog Karen, I went to meet my financé in Soho and while en route, I met photographer Anka Itskovich who asked if she could snap a pic for her awesome street style Instagram, @the_line_up.
