Hi Fab Friends!

I had the BEST time at my birthday party this year : ) I chose Tillmans for the special evening because of the fab grown and sexy ambiance and also for the amazing old school music they play on Friday nights!! Everything from Jackson 5 to New Edition! It was so great to celebrate with my boyfriend Obi and my friends Deja, Esther, Reggie. Aaron, Shaun, Jose, Emanuel, Wayman and Sureme! The highlights of the night: My bf giving me the camera of my dreams and a fab cupcake surprise at the table! Also dancing the night away with Deja and Esther! The owner of the club even came by at the end of the party and gave us all bday shots, so fun! Thanks everyone for making my 28th bday so memorable and fab! Hi Fabulous Friends!

Last month I moved to Williamsburg, Bk- one of the hottest places to live in NYC! It has been a great experience so far and I am loving everything Williamsburg has to offer : ) A couple weeks ago my fab friend and psuedo twin, Mr. Shaun Willis-Bentley, came by my apt for a visit. I showed him around and here are some fun pics for you to enjoy!

Hi Fabulous Friends!

In the last 2 weeks a lot has happened and I am pleased to be sharing it all with you! First I moved into my new apartment in Williamsburg, BK, one of the hottest and most fab places to live in New York! I love it so much here: the laid back atmosphere, the hip boutiques and most of all the strong vintage presence! There are sooo many great places to buy amazing vintage pieces! I also love my apartment with its high ceilings, spacious rooms and colorful decor, courtesy of my super creative roommate Sarah, who is a talented artist. I will post pics up soon!

Second piece of news: I have a new job at ESSENCE Magazine as Executive Assistant to the Editor-in-Chief, Constance White! It is such an honor to continue to work for Constance, who I greatly admire for her countless contributions to the fashion industry. I am elated to be joining the ESSENCE family!

In the post I will show you how I rocked one of my fav shoes, TopShop floral wedges, with 3 different looks. Two looks I wore were daytime while working at ESSENCE and the 3rd was worn nighttime, for an event honoring Constance.

Just got new hairstlye: Senegalese twists and I have definitely been putting them in creative styles! This day I did a high bun and wrapped it in craft yarn for a special touch : )
