Hi Fab Friends!
It was my second year attending FNO and I was excited to partake in the adventures with one of my favorite people, Sureme!! After a long day at work, we met up at Lord and Taylor where Solange was the guest DJ. Solange played an amazing set as I danced to every song. She’s an awesome dj, definitely check her out if you can. I also officially met her stylist Charles Wade, who I was featured along with back in April for Coco & Creme’s 5 Brilliant Stylist Your Should Know. I love what he has done with Solange- she has quickly surpassed Rihanna as my style inspiration! After Lord and Taylor, Sureme and I hit the exclusive FNO event at Versace where Drake was the guest DJ. We sipped champagne and chatted with some of my ESSENCE colleagues who were also in attendance. Most of all, I had a ball checking out the gorgeous Versace clothes and accessories, especially the coat that I have been eyeing since Summer! Obsessed!! While leaving Versace, we were met with a huge mob of people that crowded the front entrance. I later found out that Jay Z and Nicki Minaj had come out to party with Drake! Fab! It was the best FNO yet. I even had my first ride in a bicycle taxi. Pretty exhilarating since my driver was bobbin n’ weavin through the traffic. Good times : )
