Hi Fab Friends!

A rainy night should never put damper (lol) on an evening, especially in NYC-where there is always some fabulous event to attend. Tonight I was invited by Sureme to the Bowlmor holiday party at their 44th St location. There I ran into my fab friends J Cherry of kiddunot.com and Bruce, co designer and innovator of super dope line: Robot & Brucling. Some food and drinks later and it was time to head over to the grand re-opening of h&m’s 7th Ave with Wayman. I was definitely looking forward to the 25% off sale of the entire store! So exhilarating : ) Rainy days won’t stop me when there is this much fun to be had! And how fashionable are my friends? Such good ambiance : )

Hi Fab Friends!

It’s October and I am so grateful for the lingering warm weather! My vintage 80’s dress is perfect for this gorgeous sunny day. I love the mixture of polka dots and floral print; so unexpected yet works amazingly well. It is one of my favorite dresses. Since it is sheer,  I wear a slip underneath that I got from H&M. Cinching the dress at the waist with this vintage leather belt helps to highlight my waist and overall flatter my shape. One great thing I love about about fall is fabulous boots like the Jones New York brand I am wearing. They are so comfortable and I swear they have the interior of a sneaker! I am a fan!

Hi Fab Friends!

These last few months have been such a whirlwind! Between working at ESSENCE, blogging, NYFW and other events, I barely had time to digest the new Fall season. One day it’s 85 degrees and the next its 50 :(. Oh, that NYC weather! But there’s really no other place I’d rather be : ) I’m a city girl at heart. Here is one of my last summer outfits, worn right before fashion week madness had  begun.

The way I wear my hat is one of my favorite trademarks, along with my pink lips. It’s so me. So fly : ) And how fab is that orange skirt? Pow!
