LIPS: my fave pink combo – MAC Magenta liner (all over lips) followed by Makeup Forever’s #36 lipstick. Creates a beautiful ombre : )

Fall is definitely my favorite season when it comes to fashion because you have the option of wearing various types of looks. Today I tried something different from what I usually wear and I love how this nude Fall look came together! Def trying this again soon : )

Jewel Toned dress / H&M denim jacket / Steve Madden heels / Ruby Woo lipstick (my FAVE red 4-ever)

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that my husband and I attended  Essence Music Fest in New Orleans this past July 4th weekend. It was amazing! Such a fun time to celebrate black culture, Kevin Hart’s What Now tour (Obi’s birthday gift), 3 nights of wonderful music and the best food.

On the last night we went to see Sza, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar at the Mercedes Benz Superdome and it was lit! I wore my Jewel Toned bodycon dress for the occasion and it fit like a glove! Jewel Toned is known for their shapewear that’s meant to be worn as outerwear. Genius. ESSENCE photographer Hannan Saleh snapped me for the streetstyle roundup that night as well : )
