Let’s talk about giving. With all the excitement the holiday brings it’s easy to forget that many people are struggling to get their next meal. This holiday, I found an organization that feeds the homeless right here in my neighborhood of Harlem called Friendly Hands Ministries. It was such a blessing to provide their facility with healthy organic items from my fave go-to grocery store, Trader Joe’s.

I encourage you to find a food bank, shelter or church in your community and donate food and other necessities. Not only will you provide someone with a warm meal, you’ll also feel good inside and inspire others to do the same. So, let’s all give back this holiday season!

Gotta love an edgy black/white combo. Really can’t go wrong. Today, I mixed in some leather pieces along with sick mirror shades for a casual cool combo. Oh, and these boots are v. comfortable (!)

A soft pink/nude lip using NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague  + MAC’s lip liner in Plum completed the look along with my new negative space mani in neon green that I recently got done at black owned (:-) salon in Harlem called Bed of Nails! More on the nails soon.

Back to the look: I like how this look has a bit of sex appeal with me giving you thigh. Sometimes it’s all about the subtlety.
