This Memorial Day, I attended Beyonce’s most anticipated Revel Concert in Atlantic City. It was literally one of the best experiences of my life! Such an amazing performance. My boyfriend and I had 2nd row seats (!!), it was like I was right on stage with Bey. Sick. This was my 2nd Beyonce concert and by far the best. She is the world’s greatest performer. Bey gives her all on stage. It is so inspiring to see someone work as hard as she does. AND she just had a baby 5 months ago. Just Wow.
Bey let everyone know that she was Back in Business with a 2 hour show comprised of hits from all of her 4 solo albums, as well as some Destiny Child classics like “Jumpin, Jumpin”. My favorite part was towards the end of the show when she performed “Countdown”. The imagery and vivid color display were beyond! The bass was so loud, I was sure I wouldn’t be able to hear the next day! All in all, my bf and I were amazed from start to finish. Such a memorable night and I am so glad I went!!
Sidenote: In the lobby prior to the show, I spotted Queen Latifah looking fab and casual in a printed maxi dress. And I had the honor of sitting next to design duo, The Blondes, who designed Beyonce’s showgirl costume. More on that soon!
