Collections: Fall Must-Haves

For the past few weeks, I’ve been working on an awesome project to introduce eBay’s new platform: Collections. By using this new feature, eBay users have the ability to curate themed collections and also follow others they love. Since the first day I began working on this project, I was hooked! And it seems I’m not the only one. Last night, while attending the eBay Holiday Collective event, I was told the Collections are now being used amongst 100,000 people since its launch on October 22! Amazing!

The best part of eBay’s Collections? You can create one inspired by literally anything you like. As a stylist, I naturally thought of Fall’s Must-Haves. For this, I included my favorite things this season: leather leggings, boyfriend coats, blazers, thigh high boots and much more!

Joy Adaeze x Glamour’s Favorite Bloggers

How cool! I was featured as one of Glamour.com’s favorite fashion bloggers in a fun Fall Date-Night story! I love this flirty look I’m wearing: an H&M sheer button down shirt over an H&M tank, a Mango belt, ASOS fit and flare skirt, Khirma Eliazov purse and my favorite new heels from Schutz, an awesome Brazilian shoe line that made its way to NYC last year! Of course, I topped it off with a chic silk turban from my upcoming line. Oh and a hot red lip, courtesy of Stila’s Stay All Day vinyl lip gloss in Scarlet Vinyl. I love its shine and stay power. This look would be perfect for a night of dinner and salsa dancing with my boyfriend (we recently started taking lessons during a trip to Miami.)

It’s time to face the inevitable, winter is literally around the corner. It’s freezin’ folks! I’m a warm weather gal myself but it there’s one thing I love about the fall/winter season, it’s cool coats. They’re the ultimate statement piece.

This season, it’s all about THE BOYFRIEND COAT. We’ve been stealing a lot from the boys lately: boyfriend jeans, slouchy sweaters, menswear inspired pant suits, brogues, the list goes on. I guess we just got tired of letting the dudes have all the fun! Ha! The latest in thievery, the boyfriend coat, lends to an unlimited amount of looks this season. Dress them up of down, ladies! They’re cozy, oversized, and loveable – just like our fave guys. (wink)
