Hi All!
Last night I had the pleasure of attending celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert Cynde Watson’s makeup event for her new line of cosmetics, “Color by Cynde Watson”. The event took place at Georgia Beauty Product and Salon in NYC and was a huge success!
Makeup Maven Cynde Watson has quite a fabulous history in her over 15 year career. She has worked with some of the hottest celebrities including Angela Bassett, Paris Hilton, Giselle Bundchen, Queen Latifa and Paula Abdul and has been featured in numerous publications like ESSESNCE, Glamour, In Style, O Magazine, Seventeen and Vibe.
Cynde revealed her newest collection of cosmetic pencils for the face, eyes and lips as women stood anxiously waiting to to try the new products. Cynde and her staff also did makeovers! So much fun! Check out the pics : )

Anyone who knows me knows I’ve always been a huge Aaliayh fan. I watched her from the beginning and was always attracted to her charm and amazing talent. Today is the 9 year anniversary of her death (August 25, 2010). Today we celebrate her beautiful life and the legacy she left behind in the music industry.
Aaliayah touched my heart with her kindness and amazing personality. When I started designing back in college at Rutgers University, I made a special piece in her honor. This was in 2005.
Here are some of my favorite videos from Aaliyah aka “Babygirl”.
I had the amazing opportunity to meet Aaliyah’s choreographer, Fatima Robinson, last week in Soho. A really great experience.
RIP Aaliyah. Thankyou for all that you gave this world during your time here. You are forever in my heart.
