Hi Fabulous Friends!

A few days before Christmas while riding the subway, I struck up a conversation with a lovely woman named Claudette who was sitting next to me. The topic: Her fabulous vintage DVF bag. So we’re having a great conversation about her awesome bag. I ask her where she got it. It was a gift from a friend, she replied. She asked me if I would like it. I said of course (thinking that she would tell me where I could purchase it). Then she says “Ok, you can have it”. I couldn’t believe it. Then she hands me the gorgeous vintage DVF bag. I had never received such a heartfelt gift from a stranger! What a kind and giving person. Even now, I can’t believe she gave me such a fabulous bag. I used it for the first time today, while at the Today Show with Constance White.

Giving is such a beautiful thing. So often we forget the power of giving. This gift will always be special to me for this very reason.

Last week my fashion friend Trenton Dallas and my boyfriend attended designer Charlotte Ronson’s holiday party at her Soho store. So much fun! Yummy drinks, delicious cupcakes and great fashion: what more do you need? Plus, I got to show off my new leopard one-shouldered dress and Giant bow belt. Cheers!

As the year 2010 comes to an end, I thought it would be fun to bring to you my Top Outfits of the Year! These are the outfits that I think back and say “Brilliant”! What a fab idea… : ) Three things that you will notice in these photos: (1) I LOVE accessories (belts, jewelry, brooches, hats, etc, etc!) (2) I have a “pose” lol. I don’t even realize I pose almost the same way in each pic, its become almost like second nature lol! (3) I look very different with my various hairstyles, I love changing it up : )
